WHAT WE DO
ITP is a hands-on finance club. Members research stocks, build models, compete in pitch competitions, and connect with professionals from across the industry.
Pitch Competitions
The core of what ITP does. Members research publicly traded companies, build full investment theses, and present buy or sell recommendations to the club. The best pitches advance to regional and national collegiate competitions.
- Internal pitch sessions: present your thesis and defend your model
- DCF, comparable company, and precedent transaction analysis
- Judged by e-board and guest evaluators from industry
- Top pitches compete at national collegiate investing competitions
- This fall's $850 prize pool ($500 / $250 / $100 for 1st / 2nd / 3rd) is sponsored by Kissel Capital

IRVA
IRVA (Investment Valuation Research & Analysis) is ITP's core educational program. The IRVA Director leads by example on a topic, then members break into groups to work through it together, with the IRVA board circulating to help groups as needed.
- The IRVA Director leads by example on each topic before groups dig in
- Fundamental finance and financial modeling basics
- Valuation methods, including DCF (discounted cash flow) analysis
- IRVA board members circulate to help groups as needed
Workshops & Education
Weekly educational content for members at every experience level. Whether you've never built a model or you're prepping for superday, there's a workshop for you.
- Financial modeling and valuation fundamentals
- Interview prep: behavioral, technical, and case walkthroughs

Networking & Recruiting
Classroom knowledge only takes you so far. ITP connects members to industry through coffee chats, a guest speaker series, alumni panels, and on-campus recruiting access.
- Regular coffee chats connecting members with upperclassmen and alumni

- Alumni panels, like our April 2025 Virtual Alumni Roundtable with professionals from Morgan Stanley, Northern Trust, and Thrivent
