Alumni Spotlights

Julia Iglesias
Co-Founder & First President, ITP to Associate at Questa Capital
Julia co-founded ITP as a biomedical engineering student and served as its first president. Within a year she was on the Purdue team that won Indiana's CFA Institute Research Challenge, valuing a company and defending the call in front of professional analysts. She carried that work into healthcare investment banking at Bank of America, and today invests in the sector as an associate at Questa Capital.

Daniel Hochstetler
Purdue CS to CTO & Co-Founder, Astor (Y Combinator)
Daniel joined ITP as a computer science major, interning at Brazil's stock exchange, Amazon, and Robinhood along the way. He then spent nearly three years at Stripe on a team of seven engineers responsible for moving more than $1 trillion a year to businesses worldwide. In 2025 he co-founded Astor, an AI investment advisor, where he serves as CTO. The company went through Y Combinator and raised a $5M seed round the following spring.

Bruno Poloni
Vice President, ITP (founding year) to Investment Banking, BTG Pactual
Bruno was studying industrial engineering when he became ITP's vice president in the club's first year. He joined BTG Pactual's investment banking division in São Paulo, where he now works on some of Latin America's largest transactions, among them the $6.9bn privatization of Eletrobras, the second-largest equity offering in the world in 2022, and the $8.1bn merger of Marfrig and BRF.

Noah Evers
ITP Analyst to Senior Trading Analyst, ACES
As an ITP analyst, Noah pitched Arista Networks as a hold, valuing the stock at $136.88 when the market had it at $156.76. Within a week it traded down to $134. He went on to trade power in real time at ACES, overseeing dispatch decisions for a 5,000+ MW generation portfolio, and was promoted to senior trading analyst this year. He still returns to judge ITP pitch competitions.

Samir Mehta
ITP Sector Director to Private Equity Associate, CIVC Partners
As an ITP sector director, Samir wrote weekly buy-side-style research and built long-horizon stock pitches on Bloomberg terminals, the same work junior analysts do professionally. That research foundation carried him through three years of investment banking at William Blair. He is now a private equity associate at CIVC Partners in Chicago.
